Just wanted to let you guys know that we are working on making the GBIF.org system emails fully translatable, i.e.
- new user confirmation
- welcome to new user
- download is ready
- password reminder
- account deletion confirmation
- endorsement request
etc.
can be localized.
We don’t have a system (like Crowdin) in place yet for handling these translations—BUT if you’re keen to get your language in as soon as possible, you could start exploring the messages and prepare translations. The templates are available in Github: https://github.com/gbif/registry/tree/master/registry-mail/src/main/resources/email/templates
Emails will be in HTML format and if you’re curious to see what they look like, you can already preview them on the UAT environment: https://www.gbif-uat.org
