Cannot locate cited dataset

Hi,

I’m trying to locate the data (Geological boundaries in Amazonia, Brazil) cited in supplementary info from a research paper as:data.gbif.org/datasets/resource/1190 - however, this link is now dead. Any way I can locate the data it previously pointed to?

Two factors here: (1) GBIF changed the format of dataset IDs in the last quarter of 2013, from integer to UUIDs. This happened in the course of a major system overhaul that was necessary to serve the growing volumes of data and traffic, as well as a need for globally unique and stable identifiers. (2) It appears that the article that you are citing is using the same numbering system (1. - xxx.) for several different categories side by side, which is rather confusing. I suspect that the article that you are looking for is item 33. in the “References and Notes” section of the sources, rather than under “GBIF”: C. A. Quesada, J. Lloyd, L. O. Anderson, N. M. Fyllas, M. Schwarz, C. I. Czimczik, Soils of
Amazonia with particular reference to the RAINFOR sites. Biogeosciences 8, 1415–1440
(2011). doi:10.5194/bg-8-1415-2011

Thanks for pointing that out! I’ll read more carefully next time…
