Simon Haarder and I have gathered the parasitoids emerged from our Cecidomyiidae collections, mostly from Denmark, obtained by a variety of rearing methods. Most of them have been identified by Peter Neerup Buhl and Dick Askew. There are many new and first host records of parasitoids, in particular koinobionts that develop in hibernating cecidomyid larvae in soil. And there at many first parasitoid records for gall midge species.
