Hi @ralusek the search API allows to search up to 100,000 records.
Note that the vernacular names displayed on the GBIF pages are coming from all the checklist datasets published on GBIF. I am not aware of any comprehensive checklist of vernacular names. Perhaps this recorded webinar and associated links would be relevant for your work.
