currently, it is not possible to filter occurences using taxonomic rank corresponding to termites. Is there a workaround (other then filtering for all families within termites) or is it possible to request for the rank to be added to the taxonomic database? Thanks!
It is unfortunately not possible to search on intermediate ranks in GBIF. The best option would be to set up a search for all termite families (may not be all - just my best bet without any knowledge on the subject).

Thanks for clarification and even giving me an example of the filter! I’m not sure if all termite records are assigned to a family but I’ll check it.
