Some users of GBIF will be well aware of the Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL), a large open access collection of literaure on biodiversity from the foundational documents of taxonomy in the 17th century to the latest articles from Pensoft publishing, and much in between. BHL has a wealth of taxonomic, geographic, and ecological information, as well as biographies of collectors, expedition reports, etc.
Partly inspired by the example of this forum, BHL now has its own discussion place https://forum.biodiversitylibrary.org/. The forum has only just started, but we hope it will be a useful place to discuss everything related to BHL. In particular, if there are things that BHL could do better from the perspective of GBIF users, that would be good to know.
