Character limit for occurrenceID

I received an interesting question today from a data provider. Is there a character limit for occurrenceID? While I’m asking, are there character limits for any GBIF fields? I couldn’t find an answer from a quick search, apologies if it’s obvious!

Thanks @sformel, the only limit is for fields searchable via the API/website. It is an elasticsearch restriction for some data types (not more than 1024 characters).
