# Spreadsheet templates for Darwin Core

As part of the Nansen Legacy project, we have been working on spreadsheet templates for Darwin Core Archives.

Feel free to use it to help you create Darwin Core Archives! And share it within your communities. Consider creating a link to it on your websites.

It outlines which terms are required and recommended for each core/extension. The spreadsheet templates include descriptions for each term as notes each time you select a cell. It also includes cell restrictions to prevent you from including some invalid values.
